"We stayed at the Ala Moana hotel/condo after hurricane Lala since the power was out for a few days and we had visitors staying with us. Although the hotel was also on back up generator power on/off, the stay overall was excellent. The hotel was updated and clean with all the amenities needed and the location was next to the shopping center. However, what made the stay memorable was the aloha spirit of the hotel staff. Everyone went out of their way to welcome us with a smile despite the weather and how hectic and busy it was. A section of the carpet in our room was wet from the hurricane and the hotel offered to move us but we were too tired. Special thank you to a few of the staff; Ruby of housekeeping, Kalani at the front desk, and Miller who dried the carpet. You really made our stay relaxing during a very stressful time. Thank you for taking care of us for a few days and treating us like family."

"Stayed for one night before flight to LA lovely hotel clean large room, huge bathroom, staff managed issues with storm lala and power outage very well. We ate in the restaurant food was great wait staff friendly. Pool looked amazing unfortunately due to the storm it was closed due to safety concerns. I would definitely stay here again"

"Expensive for what it is. The rooms don't have a desk, so if you need a workspace, you're out of luck. Destination fee of $50 a night was surprise. It seems like that's the norm for HNL these days, but you're sorta stuck when you get there. $59 to park your car seems excessive as well. It's clean, the staff was friendly, and there's a big mall across the street."

"great location walking distance from downtown Wakiki, and the beach, and Ala Moana shopping center. Love the microfiber beach towels for not bringing back most of the beach. Host was very up front about the lack of parking, the price to park a car wasn't ideal (45/day) but such is life."
