"Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. "Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "

"Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan. Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!"
