"My wife and I stay here every time we are in town, which is usually three or four times a year. This is an older hotel, but we enjoy the rustic appeal and charm. As soon as we walk in the front door and are greeted by Angela at the front desk we feel so welcome and so glad we made the choice to stay here. This is our fifth year coming here. We find the place to be clean and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They do have a free breakfast that does start the day, although it is on the basic side, cold cereal, bagel, oatmeal, and fruit. Beds and pillows are both on the firm side to me. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here the next time we are in town."

"This was a huge campground surrounded by redwoods! It had a little store, an arcade cabin, it was nicely landscaped with lots of flowering bushes and even a cute lighted gazebo. There were areas for RV and tent camping and cabins in different sizes scattered all over. All of it was dog friendly and there was even a dog park enclosure to let your dog off leash. Our cabin had a full size kitchen with dishes, a bedroom with a back deck overlooking the campground full of redwoods, a great shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water, a nice couch and table in the living room and even an extra bed with extra pillows and bedding. Our cabin had Wi-Fi and even a binder made up with all the information you might need for the campground and surrounding towns with local restaurant info listed and even a huge map showing all the nearby towns up and down the coast listing all the tourist attractions you might want to explore! Everything was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. This place was magical and way better than any hotels listed nearby, the best camping experience with the amenities of a hotel stay!"
