"Definitely not like the photos. Older building, they put us in the back down a dingy hall. It made us feel like we were part of the maid’s quarters. View out our window was the bus stop & homeless. Not the worst hotel but for almost $300 after crazy taxes/fees it was overpriced. The only thing that was exceptional was the breakfast! Soooo good. Also I forgot my toothbrush & razor they did not have complementary ones, I had to pay $15 :("

"I called the office to see what the price would be for a 4-night stay and was quoted $199 per night. I drove to the property to look at the rooms, and they were nice enough we determined to stay. I logged onto Expedia while in the office speaking with the manager and she said the price was as low as they could go and prices were going up the next day. As she was telling me this, I secured the same room for $135 per night through the app. She was not very happy, but we got the room for $135 per night. I suggest checking multiple sources when securing a room. Sometimes calling direct is better sometimes going through a 3rd party service is better. The room was very clean and everything worked correctly. Parking is tight if you are the getting there late. Turning left to Mill Valley can be a challenge due to the road and driveway placement."

"We stayed on the lower level and a patio with chairs looking at the water. The room was spacious and clean. The hot water was fantastic, with plenty of pressure. The breakfast in the morning was extensive, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, veggie frittata, scramled eggs, bacon, sausage, and Belgian waffle maker! There is also a bar where you can ask for your favorite coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte, to be made on site! Our favorite amenity were the bikes available to use! There is a bike path behind the Acqua that you can take to Sausalito(3.5 miles) and if you want more of an adventure, follow to and over the Golden Gate Bridge to Downtown San Francisco! There's a wonderful activity trail that goes along Crissey Field all the way to Embarcadero. After exploring San Francisco, catch a Ferry back to Sausalito and take in the views!"
