"I picked this place because it was within walking distance to the PNE. It was also close to Hastings street. The unit was clean and Kirk was very quick to respond to my questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Kirk was nice enough to let us park in the back alley because there wasn't any parking on the street due to the Pne."

New Relaxed West Coast Vibe Minutes Form Seabus, Transit, Mtns, Trails & Beaches

New Relaxed West Coast Vibe Minutes Form Seabus, Transit, Mtns, Trails & Beaches

10/10 Excellent
"I had an amazing stay here and would 100% recommend! The place was very clean, tidy, and incredibly well equipped. I appreciated having bottled water and a water pitcher in the fridge as well as the abundance of towels provided, and while I did not use the kitchen appliances, I can vouch that pretty much every tool and appliance was there. The host was more than wonderful! Checking in/out was contactless and seamless, however when we encountered a little bug situation from leaving the door open too long, she went above and beyond to come by and help us resolve it. As for location, I usually stay in downtown Vancouver for convenience, but this location was absolutely comparable. It was only a 12-15 min walk to the Seabus to get to downtown (or a 2 min walk to the bus station for a 5 min ride) so it was super convenient and I really appreciated being able to take in waterfront every morning in a more quiet environment before heading out to DT. In North Van itself, being close to places like Nemesis, Cream Pony, Jam Cafe, KraveKulture, etc was a plus as well. I travelled with my friend and we both appreciated how safe the neighbourhood felt, and we found that the room was relatively comfortable in space as well. I am already considering coming back here my next trip so I truly cannot recommend it more."

Hotel at the Waldorf

8/10 Good
"2nd stay this year and got a bigger room. Was facing the street - the window acrually blocked a lot of sound, and I had foam ear plugs in and slept just great. The front desk lady offered me her phone charger as I'd called ahead before I checked in to say Id forgotten mine (I ended buying what I needed but was very nice to offer). I grabbed a couple drinks at the attached liquor store (didn't use the restaurant this stay) and before check out, I got breakfast again at Yolks with a 10% discount. The bus stop outside gets you downtown in minutes. My trip this time was for Roger's Arena (last trip was the Rickshaw). Again, everything went just great. Just about the cheapest hotel before going to hostels! I'll be booking a third stay, Im sure. Bathroom didn't have any wash cloths but apart from that, mini fridge and AC/heat etc had what I needed. Keurig coffee, too."
