"Lovely friendly staff during our stay. Nice pool facilities, didn't use the gym but it looked well stocked. Food was nice, especially the breakfast and nothing was too much to organise for us. Garage parking was easy to locate and property is near to shopping areas and more pubs and restaurants. Would stay again."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great in between Windermere and Bowness, easy walk to both. Lovely breakfast and charming room. Very quaint. About 15 rooms, they are not huge rooms and have a small bathroom. Only weird thing was the hotels direction on map led us to a completely different place so we arrived at the wrong accommodation at first. Would recommend Woodlands, we liked it a lot. "

"This accommodation is perfectly located - less than 5 minutes walk from bars, cafés, restaurants & shops...less than 1 mile from attractions (World of Beatrix Potter) & the main hub. The staff were very friendly and helpful (my elderly Mum was incorrectly allocated a twin room, however the Receptionist promptly offered a replacement double room for her). The rooms were spacious and included a king sized bed (very comfortable), large tv, selection of tea/coffee, range of toiletries...however...

"All good except the sofa bed isn't comfortable at all. The room isn't a good choice for 3 persons. "
