Although a lot of hotels take a card on check in for additional charges such as the bar, breakfast etc, this hotel actually takes the deposit from your card at the time and then refund you a few days later rather than only processing charges on check out. Not sure this is a great way of dealing with customers as you have to check that you receive the refund. "
