"We got to stay on the newly remodeled side and it was great! It still has the vintage flamingo vibes but new carpet, new bedding, updated fixtures, etc. Nothing overly fancy but absolutely perfect for our little stay! The pool party there was so fun, we actually at the cosmopolitan a few weeks later and their pools were such a snooze fest that we went back and hung out at the pool party at the flamingo. Don’t write this one off… It’s a good time and worth the price. I also love they didn’t have outrageous resort fees or an outrageous daily deposit."

"First time getting a basic room. It was decent. Bed is comfy. Walls are very dusty. My allergies were horrible so I had to clean and dust the walls off! I’ve stayed here before never had the issue of the dust. I like the location of the hotel. Very close to other hotels. Wish I upgraded my room to a better view and better room."

"The rooms are very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower is not that great. The staff is excellent! Breakfast at the Garden Buffet is delicious 😋😋. Especially the omelet bar. Del Mar deli has awesome chicken fingers!"

"Great location, and we loved being so close to the LINQ Promenade. The restaurant food was also very good. Unfortunately, the room had a strong musty smell, almost like a dirty or damp carpet covered with cleaning spray. It seemed like the carpet may have been cleaned but not properly dried. I also noticed a thick layer of dust under the table around the charging cables. The location and food were great, but the room definitely needs better deep cleaning and ventilation."
