Rest, Relax & Recharge!

"After dealing with two weddings in 5 months for our daughters plus several medical issues with our aging parents, we just needed time away to unplug, relax, and recharge. Dolphin's Watch was the perfect place to do that! It had everything we needed for entertainment, cooking, sunbathing, and unwinding. Our favorite aspects of this gem were the cleanliness of the accommodations overall, the responsiveness of the owner, the screened in porch with rocking chairs, the quiet location, and the large windows across the front that gave us a beautiful view of the ocean all day long. A bonus for us was the fact that it's turtle nesting season and we were able to witness this first hand nearby! We only left the cottage twice in 7 days to pick up additional provisions. We were sad to see our week come to an end but it gave us exactly what we needed! We plan to be repeat visitors at Dolphin's Watch because it felt exactly like home to us! Thanks Greg for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Escape Hatch! Our large family gathering was made even more special thanks to the great layout and inviting atmosphere of the home. The main living area is perfect for hosting, featuring a spacious dining table for shared meals and a cozy living room with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax and connect.The dual decks and Ocean views were a highlight—we spent many hours enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery. The house is filled with natural light and has an open, airy feel that made it great to spend time in.The beach is both beautiful and accessible. We had a blast playing cornhole, surfing, and soaking up the sun. The bedrooms are generously sized, and three of them open directly onto the upper deck, offering ocean views and it is great for evening stargazing.The location on the island is ideal and is a quick drive to nearby shops and essentials. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We left with great memories, and we would absolutely love to return to this property in the future. "

"Forgot to read the entire policy. No sheets and towels were supplied. Linen rental places were all closed and we had to go buy sheets and towels at Walmart. Will read the entire policy next time when renting."

"Beautiful house just off the main road! It’s a couple miles from the main shops in Surf City and it’s right across the street for beach access! The neighborhood is a nice quiet area with lots of trees around for those who love just sitting outside and listening to the birds and watching the sun set! Definitely a go to in the future!"

"We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! This place was so well stocked for cooking and lots of chairs for relaxing on the beach! It is located right on the beach!! It was beautifully decorated throughout.
