"Room was clean but rather small to be honest, smaller than a Travelodge and more expensive. Did appreciate the special evening meal that was asked for. Parking could be difficult and understand they are about to charge ( not the hotel) for roadside parking."

"Hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in. If I had to be critical, the only two negatives are the noise in the swimming pool area, which they may not be able to change, extracting fans and no guaranteed parking. I left my vehicle in place the whole stay. The town centre is just around the corner and there are lots of different restaurants, and cafes."

"Clean and simple solo room, no fuss and ideal for what was needed for a single night stay. Bed was a bit creaky but comfortable none the less! I didn't have breakfast. The only minor headache was nobody being around initially when I went to check in abour 8.30pm, and phone signal wasn't good to get hold of anyone. My fault for not reading the booking instructions and contacting the hotel in advance for a slightly later check in time. Somebody came after a short while but clearly they had a bit of a trek from where the bell rang!"
