Our stay at the Hej Taipei was really nice. The location was perfect for us, close to the MRT lines which made it easy for us to discover the city. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was also really nice to have breakfast (and Coffee) and snacks included, which is not huge but more then enough :) If we comeback to Taipei we will visit this hotel again!

Hej Taipei was perfect for us!

Perfect hotel in the middle of the city. Clean, comfortable, spacious, great city view & customer service. This was our 1st visit to Taiwan. It had everything we needed. If you are really tall, you might find the low ceilings in some areas of room hard to deal with. My son is 5'9" & he was ok. It may be just the corner room that we had.

The area is nearby to mrt and shopping centre. It is great area for visitor without transport. The hotel is good that have bath tub. However somehow the staff ask to be quiet in room during check-in,ABIT bad impression hotel room should be enjoyable that we have been warned even nothing wrong has been done..

Great location, a little hard to find

The hotel was good. Location is excellent for MRT access. We stayed 2 nights but our room was not serviced at all during our stay. The reception is a bit cold. The beds are on the firm side but the comforter and pillows were nice. This hotel did not provide a bar of soap in our room for the bathroom sink area which was weird and disappointing. Included breakfast was okay. Room had a washlet.

The hotel is situated on the seventh floor of a commercial building, conveniently close to the MRT. The check-in process was seamless. While the room's condition is satisfactory, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness of the bedsheets. The provision of a light breakfast is a thoughtful touch. Fortunately, we experienced no noise disturbances during our stay, possibly due to effective sound insulation or considerate neighbors. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Pros: Our stay was comfortable, the breakfast was good (I love congee!), and the sheets were always clean. Budget friendly. Nice free snacks and drinks in room and in lobby. Staff is so friendly and helpful! Cons: The hallway was a little dank and the walls of the room seemed in rough shape (maybe needs to be washed/wiped or wallpaper replaced). Something I didn’t realize when booking this hotel was that our bathroom shower had a low ceiling above it, it was difficult to stand up and the tub was quite short.. so if you were to take a step too far back, you’d step on the slope of the tub and slip. I was concerned my mom would slip and hit her head. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. It’s great if you are on a budget. I would come back again on my own (without an older parent because of the bathroom situation).

About 5 min walk from exit 4 of the MRT station. We were surprised when we knew our room was right beside the lift on the same level; all the rooms are! However it was one of the bigger room, even had a bathtub and it was relatively quiet. Wish there was simple amenities like hand soap. Many delectable food options in the area and convenient to go to other areas.
