The breakfast is served in the restaurant next to the hotel and it offers 4 choices only which include one choice for kids. The location is convenient, which is within walking distance to MRT Shilin station. The room size is quite small. The price is reasonable considering its location. However, I don't recommend it for family traveling with baby due to its small room space.

The location is unbeatable in this part of town. Not too close to MRT, so it's not noisy at night, nor too far away from MRT. We didn't pay for the breakfasts, because there are tons of food options nearby. The room is big with a living room area, but, unexpectedly, it has no closet, and we had to lay out our luggage on the couch.

Comfortable bed, two pillows each! Air conditioning worked well, and quite a few English tv channels. Room a bit small but sufficient for for a couple for a night or two. Small fridge and water available, as well as laundry. Hotel provides ear plugs in case of noise, but we found it quiet. Close to the Shilin night market for supper. 7-11 also close by as well as other convenience stores and restaurants. A couple blocks from Shilin station. Handy for traveling.

Overall Worth the cost

Positive: Huge Family Room: Actually two rooms combined, very spacious. Two Full Toilets: Very convenient for a family. Balcony: A nice addition to the room. Lovely Design: Rooms had an appealing aesthetic. Quiet at Night: Despite proximity to the market, the area is quiet in the evening. Negative: Poor Wear and Tear: Noticeable damage in the rooms. E.g. Broken Shower Heads and Broken Shower Door(Replaced with an inconvenient plastic curtain) Expensive Laundry: Laundry service cost $50 per use. No Nearby Amenities: 10 mins to restaurants immediately surrounding the hotel. However with the price tag, it is ok.

Pro: Staff were very nice and helpful. Only a few minutes away from Shilin MRT station. room was spacious and as described in the photos. Cons: Breakfast although delicious, is the same every day, ( 1-2 eggs, some bread, some potato salad and some leaf fruit salad) maybe some bacon I'f you eat meat. It's OK for a day or 2 but it gets boring for 5 nights as we stayed. The room is very poorly soundproofed. ( we had to use the earplugs they provided) On arrival the floor was stained with someting sticky that I cleaned with some alcohol wipes.
