"This property is in great location. I really love the big window and lake view. It’s has access to the private pier which is a big plus. However it’s quite old. The stove top and oven is not working during our stay. And I suggest bringing your own bedding."

"Upon arriving it's visibly clean and organized but it had a wet smell like odor. Bed sheets, pillows, and towels smells like it's been used. I feel like it was washed without using soap on the washing machine. We did not use any of the pillows and blankets. We had to rewash the white bed sheets with our own soaps and cover the bed and couches with it. The house was nice but we werent comfortable with the linens at all. Highly disappointed for what we pay for."

"This was a stunning home, located in the best spot. Walking distance to the lake and we even had a bit of a lake view! The check in/check out process was seamless, and the house came with everything we needed. The house was clean, spacious and had such a great layout for a weekend with friends. "We had a lovely stay at this cozy house in Carnelian Bay. The house was clean and well equipped, and though we were warned by other reviews about street noise, it really only impacted the king bedroom upstairs. My husband and I use earplugs and/or ambient sound when sleeping and it was not an issue for us personally. I texted Kathleen about the icy driveway our first morning in town (it had been plowed the day before but there was subsequent snowfall which froze overnight) and within hours a handyman had cleared and salted the driveway for us. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Kathleen!"
