"The property was pretty basic … no fridge or kettle in room . I like to drink hot tea or coffee first thing in the morning. I’ve never stayed in Italy so I don’t know if this is normal or not to supply these things . To buy coffee in italy it’s horrible I don’t think they use hot water . The room was cleaned everyday with clean sheets and towels in the shower room ."

"I had been to the hotel also in 2017. It's a typical Roman etage hotel, meaning it occupies one or more floors in a larger apartment/condo building. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bathrooms are a little tight due to them having been added on more recently. A fridge is in the room. Breakfast is not served at the hotel, but you can buy a coupon and redeem it at a Cafe nearby for a coffee and a bakery item."

"Property was centrally locater- you could walk to it within 7 minutes from the train station. The hop in hop off bus was located about 4 minutes away and there were plenty of places to eat. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. They had a nice upstairs rooftop area which you could use to relax in at the end of the day. The only drawback was we were not made aware of any of this until the next day as the office was closed when we arrived about 4.30pm. Their communication in that area...

"Hotel Ciao was right in the heart of Rome. Everything is close by within walking distance from dining, shopping and also the main attractions. "

"We got the quadruple room at the hotel. Room was right next to the street and there was traffic noise throughout the night. It was like sleeping on the street. For A/c you have to pay extra. For towel change pay extra. Free Wi-Fi wasn't working and the staff said there was no plan to fix it. Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences. There was virtually no space in the shower to hang the towel. it was so small. Same with the washroom. I don't think a large person would be able to turn around....

"Good: location. Bad: could be really noisy at time as this is located at some youth hostels area. No basic amenities available. Shared bathroom was a nightmare. Asked 2 different staffs for additional fan as the one in the room not working but not entertained. No elevator, not recommended if you're travelling with big luggages."

"THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS HOTEL with 5 floors !!!! Why is this not mentioned in the listing anywhere? Is this a deliberate omission to mislead customers? We arrived with 2 suitcases and were allotted room on 4th floor! And the old man in charge couldn't/wouldn't help us to carry the luggage up. And would not give us a room on a lower floor. He couldn't speak English at all (not his fault but I would think for a hotel with international customers they should at least make an effort to hire...

"We had an excellent stay here. It is the perfect place for sightseeing as itwas easy to access from the main train station, only four stops and the metro station is within 2 minutes of the hotel. It is walking distance to the Coliseum which was handy. The benefit is that you are handy to all the tourist spots but the neighborhood is relaxed and away from all the busy, overcrowded and overpriced spots. There are lots of great places to eat nearby including Zero which is just next door, delicious...

"The location is the main positive for this hotel, it was a short walk from Termini and we ended up walking to Trevi Fountain/Spanish steps and for food and drinks on the night. The hotel itself was very awkward as you needed to buzzed in every time you wanted to be in but then go to the reception desk (which took us ages to find, it’s on the second floor btw) and get your key each time you came back then they would buzz you into your section where your room was. "No accommodations what so ever. Very uncomfortable. I’d definitely say this is one of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t expect anything at all. Location is the only thing good but still not the best location. "
