Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! Nico was an excellent host!! He was very attentive to our needs and had great recommendations for restaurants. He also sat down with us when we arrived and showed us places to visit on a map and modes of transportation. The room was perfect! Great hospitality!

Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.

Renovated hotel, extremely clean, comfy queen and single beds. Easy access to the terminal. No regrets! The reception is on the hotel in front of the Fiume, but the lady was quickly. We kept our luggage on the storage room after checkout. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a simple but still comfortable place.

Andrew and Paola are so amazing and accommodating. They informed us how to get to the residence, gave us extra duvets when we were a little cold, were very on top of cleaning and COVID protocol, and were very informative. They communicate quickly and informed us very soon after we left about an item left behind, and helped us call a taxi back to airport as we do not speak Italian and needed a very early morning ride. We would stay here again! Walking distance to all of the must see attractions (Academia, Uffizi, etc.) Comfortable bed, clean room, and good breakfast included. One thing to note; the night we arrived, we entered the building and the hotel desk and lobby are not on the main floor. Fortunately, a guest was leaving the building and informed us that the desk was up a few floors and we had to walk up a lot of stairs, carrying our luggage. We arrive later than 8pm. Since this is a resident hotel, we need to keep in touch with the hotel to have somebody open the door for us. No big deal though. The building and room looks aged by actually quite cozy. We had the suite one but there is value for price. We face the river and the surroundings is quiet. If you don’t lock the windows, the street starts get busy around 8am. We needed to leave at 6am and the hotel helped us call a taxi (bus in Florence is not trivial). EXCELLENT service!...

This property is located just one minute away from Ponte Vecchio and all city main attractions! The building is just magical, the apartments are very cozy ;) I liked very much the design and style of the furniture. It is fully equipped with Kitchens and bathroom. Totally in love with this place!

Very close to the air. They had a shuttle that we were able to take at 4:30am. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They served excellent dinners. It was close to T2 tram that went to to downtown and the main train station. It was perfect for our needs.
