"Wonderful one night stop over. Hut so cosy and beautifully equipped. Stunning views. More than I could have hoped for. Owners very hospitable and friendly. Fabulous breakfast (not included). "

"The Murray Arms requires updating and some investment. The decor is as it was when my in-laws were growing up in Gatehouse in the 50s, the menu is also stuck in this time vortex.
Our family room was clean and basic. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi and the TV did not work. I have a feeling this is a common problem but no one is willing to spend the money to fix it. We had our evening meal in the 'refurbished' dining area with its damp ceiling and musty smell. The quality of food was poor and overpriced....
