"Due to the heat in Kyoto we were very grateful for the cold Aircon. Check in was easy as the staff helped us, check out was super easy. The area was quiet and nice. The room was lovely. The only issue I had was the working of the washing machine, it was a little difficult for me to understand but it worked well when we did use it (cycles took a while). Helpful to have a dryer inbuilt. Would definitely stay there again if we came back to Kyoto. "

"Loved this place, my favorite hotel I stayed in in Japan. The location is super convenient, very close to Kyoto station for a good price. The room was very comfortable, I like the benches for luggage storage. Amenities were also nice, definitely recommend booking the private bath. You need a reservation but don’t really need to make it ahead of time, I asked the front desk at like 11pm and they let me use it. Short films every night and lots of cool books, really nice atmosphere. And free drinks...
