"Loved the direct access to the beach, ocean front room with an open air balcony. Hot breakfast was a plus. Staff was excellent and pro-active addressing our needs. Had an issue with our commode and maintenance fixed it immediately. Easy driving distance to restaurants and attractions. "

"The staff was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having a balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Temperature in the lobby was a little too chilly so could not sit there as we would have liked to. Building could use a bit of maintenance as it is pretty dinged up in many areas. All in all more positives than negatives."

We’ve been on several beach vacations but we spent more time at the beach here than anywhere else just because of how close & easy it was to get there. We felt extremely safe and loved the family & pet welcome atmosphere. If we ever come back to OBX we will definitely stay again! "
