"The hotel has beautiful views, wonderful staff (Tom and Marvin), and great food. It would be nice if hot water was available for showering. All of the water was salty as well. They didn’t have any blowdryers. Understood it is a hostel but for the higher cost of a private room, they should carry a few cheap ones at the front desk to borrow for guests of private rooms in case they need. "If you don't mind driving back and forth on dusty bumpy roads and asking where the heck this place is over and over, then it might be ok for you if you are a surfer that doesn't mind substandard lodging. The outdoor bathrooms were dirty with no water and the room smelled like vapors coming from the uncorked sewer drains. The room is worth far less"

"Dreamsea Nica is a paradise. Located between San Juan del Sur and Maderas surf Beach. When you enter through the gates you are immediately transported into a lush tropical paradise where the only sound is nature. The staff was friendly, attentive where anything you asked for was not a problem. The rooms were incredible. Tastefully decorated with a big comfortable bed, and veranda. The pool was refreshing with a Tiki bar to make everything right Yoga and surf was offered each day....

"I’ve always booked as a solo person but had no idea that you charge per person in nicaragua. It was awkward that they didn’t tell me at check - in so that was a bit annoying as I paid twice the price. But supposedly she gave me a discount at least. "

Overall it's not bad, the staff was good, but I found it too expensive for what you get. We stayed there for 2 nights and found another hotel for less than half the price for the third night and the room was almost the same as Yalta.
