"Having staying there last year, we had the coldest two days of the year, the property had no heating or hot water. A heater was not provided. (issue) no reception to speak too. Hey ho, we decided to stay again, knowing that problems do arise. We were staying this time for 4 days 3 nights. we had no kettle, iron. cups ect, The tv was not working, and we could not get to speak to anybody, the reception was closed. we sent an email to the booking company to pass to the hotel, with NO reply. Would...

"We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"The hotel was nice. We stayed in the Family room. It had a room with a big bed with shower, kitchen, and three bwds with the toilet. Typical European hotel with no AC so it got warm at night. They did provide 2 fans that were uaeful. The weird thing was when you were in the shower, it would be fine, thwn go scolding hot. You had to rurn it all the way cold or it would stay scalding hot. Nithing ro reall complain about. The location to the main square was perfect. Just a 2 min walk if that. "

"We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. Flat and property was overall clean but too much hassle to find it."

"Despite reviews citing thin walls, we did not experience that. Yes, you can hear other guests, but only if they were talking loud or coughing, etc. The stairs are steep, and the steps are narrow. There's no elevator, but that's part of its charm. Nice room, with a good mattress, instant hot water, nice shower (the height adjustment was missing, but not an issue for me). One of the two large windows opened fully, allowing us to get chill night air while we slept. Not much of a view, but we didn't...

"We didn’t get the email to check in and showed up at 2:30 pm being told we couldn’t until 4. The first night there was some very loud techno beat until 4 amThe second night there was 9:40- midnight the heat wasn’t working and we were told that 68 should be warm enough. We asked for a blanket which we got but he didn’t seem happy. There was no one at the receptionist desk ever."

" The view was spectacular from my Room which I had room 11 , the guy that checked us in, was very very friendly and a pleasure to deal with it. I didn’t get his name, but I can describe him,He was tall blue eyes and Bald head. I had a request . I wanted an iron, and it was sent up in my room in one minute very impressed and everything was just excellent. If i can rate 10 stars I would !!!!"
