I received a whatsapp message at 9.30pm the day before checking in telling me to click a link and either give £100 deposit that would be refunded within two weeks or pay £3 deposit that's not refundable. "Great pub/hotel with the rooms being in converted outbuildings. Service was great as was the food and drinks. Room was comfortable with no problems from pub garden noise. Bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower door didn’t quite work. We’d stay again. Perfect for a overnight before a Gatwick flight or channel crossing "
