"Good room for the money. The pub below is great fun. Interesting locals and excellent bar staff. Probably not everybody's cup of tea but we loved it. Karaoke night is a blast."

"Every member of staff was lovely. Unfortunately communication wasn’t great as tried to call before and left a message via Hotels.com and no response. The chalets underlay wasn’t laid properly so it was lumpy in places. We had a great time, I stayed in December and decided to stay with my son in June as we usually stay with my friend. "This is a quaint and charming set of rooms about the Grapes pub. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak of knees. One must climb two steep sets of stairs so make sure your luggage is is light. The check in is at the bar by the owner who is a really nice guy. He gives instruction on how to enter and return with the key and his assistant showed us the room. "I found my room very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. It has been a very long time since I have had to go out of my room for the loo or a shower but it’s not hard to get used to it again. My only issue is that having seen a laundry basket opposite my door I thought that I was supposed to strip the bed which I did and found stained pillows and badly torn duvet. Didn’t "

"Very good property overall. Lovely but also helpful staff showed us around the hotel, and very good area as well (short walk down the high street to the beautiful beach/pier) and lovely beds and bathroom. Very clean and would definitely recommend. "

"The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained.
