"Nice hotel, pretty standard layout, a little old now and tied in places by the look of it room is clean decor from the 1980s at Best functional, Service was pretty friendly on checking. Didn’t read anywhere about the parking issue they have outsourced it, so you have to pay extra for that And be careful if you don’t because it’s got APR cameras, not quite what you expect in the Lake District"

Glen literally went the extra mile, collecting some of our family members from the wedding reception at midnight as they struggled to get a taxi! Only slight negative was the single room i was in. "I was staying here on business for 4 nights. The restaurant was closed on the first night due to staff shortages but when I did eat in the food was very good. Given what I was paying I was surprised that there was no carpet in the room and was glad I had taken my slippers!"

"As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. A decent sized room ( Double ) ,there is plenty of Car parking spaces also if needed,i didnt try their Breakfasts, as i needed to be out early morning."

Great Weekend Break
"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping areas are full. A great base if you want to explore the Lake District."
