"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. "The guy at the reception was amazing me and my friend love him he was njce to talk to and make some jokes with. The rooms were sightly cold especial that the bed by a window that isnt properly secured so you coukd feel cold wind, luckily there was warm air conditioning available. "

"I think this hotel has got a bad reputation from previous reviews but I think you have to contextualise the market that they target. Clearly it is a budget option and the standards obviously mirror this. Could it be better? Yes of course, but then it would be more expensive. I felt it was very convenient for staying the night after a festival I attended, it had everything and more than I needed e.g. clean sheets, warm heater, excellent fast WiFi, TV, clean bathroom/ toiletries, TV and coffee/tea...
