"I’ve stayed here a couple of times now - usually with my wee budgie. I stay in hotels weekly with work but nowhere comes close to Knoll. It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "

Without being asked they helped with bags and opening doors etc. The food in the hotel was very good and not too expensive, even the wine was a reasonable price. Only down side was public transport. Buses very irregular and sometimes non existent. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely hotel and the staff are fantastic the lady on reception when we checked in was so nice. Room was lovely and clean and good selection of teas and coffee. The jacuzzi bath didn’t work unfortunately and we found the bed a bit to soft for us but thats personal preference. We usually stay at the sister hotel across the road but actually prefer this one. Highly recommend and booking to go back in July for our daughters graduation."
