"A lovely property and really quirky. I stayed for one night and found it to be very welcoming. The breakfast was great and they had a veggie option. Stayed in room 2 that had a private bathroom outside the room but it was very well equipped and is only for the room, robes are provided and it’s close to the room so wasn’t a problem for me at all. Thank for a lovely stay. "

The proximity of the room to the road, and being above the bar meant it was noisy, but we were prepared for that. "I was very happy with the hotel and staff. room was perfectly adequate with plenty of tea and milk, something lacking in other places iv stayed, very clean all around the hotel, always greeted by any member of staff with a hello at any time of passing. The biggest plus was the price, £40 or £50 cheaper than any similar standard place within a long distance. Excellent effort and nice to have stayed there. "
