"We had a couple of maintenance issues with the bathroom. The shower holder was loose, and the lighting was minimal, only 1 of the 3 bulbs were working. As a result of the poor lighting, the cleaning staff failing to clean the shower properly. Due to the lack of maintenance staff in the evening, I assisted in the replacement of one of the bulbs, as the concierge would have needed a step ladder to do it. "Annie and Sam are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. North Walk House is full of character, it is immaculately clean and the rooms are very homely. The beds are very comfortable. We had a large bay window in our room that showed off the panaramic view of Lynton and Lynmouth. We liked the breakfasts which were cooked from scratch to order, and a treat every day.
