"**The bellhop was the bright spot; the front desk needs serious attention**
Our group stayed here recently, and the experience was defined by two very different staff members.
The front desk was a real disappointment. From check-in, the receptionist was short and dismissive, and he made it clear he was annoyed our group was there. It got worse when water began leaking through the ceiling of one of our rooms. Instead of calmly helping, he became visibly upset and started raising his voice at...
"Great place to stay if you want to tour Venice without actually staying in the Lagoon. This hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. It's a really short walk to the train station (€1.50 to catch it) and was reasonably priced. There is a parking garage just down the street which was discounted for hotel guests. The buffet breakfast was average, and the train was a bit loud, but overall a nice place to stay."
"★★★★★
We had a wonderful stay at Turati Inn! The room was exceptionally clean, and the location was very convenient—just a four-minute walk from Termini Station. We bought breakfast at one of the cafés inside the station, which offered a great price. Our host, Laura, was attentive and checked in with us starting the day before we arrived. Five stars for everything!"
"Basic room clean no minibar in room Central location near tram and bus to main station. 20 min walk
Ideal if you are in a budget to access Venice
Front reception very helpful"
"Staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. Got the triple family and it was a cool surprise to see a separate room for my 27 yr old daughter. I would stay there again."
"Insects buzzing around in room and was not comfortable to shower in bathroom.
Room not properly maintained. Just an uncomfortable experience. Was close to attractions though"
"Great place to stay.Near everything you would want to walk to. Question of why some staff sleep/nap in the front lobby bankett at hotel Diana. Just strange to see someone sleeping there or just lying around there. Not sure who they were. Absolutely not the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew were wonderful and very helpful and do a terrific job with the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was great, very well stocked with some great food choices."
"I stay 3 nights at Vienna hotel, room was clean but little bit smell from wall bcose I think room was closed long time. It’s single bed.
But I open windows and fresh air then next day smell finished.
Wash basin was some blocked then I put lid out side then water easily going.
And shampoo pot was at floor not on the shower wall.
Lift carpet is very smelly."
"Great location in a well maintained older building (as with all of central Venice). Room was a bit small but modern, clean and brightly appointed. Other larger rooms are available. Would definitely recommend. Only minus is that the elevator does not go to the ground floor."
"We spent 3 nights here during our Italian vacation and were so happy with our stay. The hotel was clean, beautiful and in a great location. You are 5 minutes from the Realto Bridge and only 7 or 8 minutes from San Marco square. The air conditioning was wonderful and the breakfast was perfect. If there was any complaint it is that the shower is tiny, I mean you can nearly turn around in it but other than that everything was great. If I go back to Venice I’ll stay here again."
"Staff is not that helpful; we complained about AC not working and the technician never showed up. The map of the campsites that they share is very confusing. Restaurant is not that good. No dining options nearby. One good thing is they operate a shuttle to Venice."
