"The grand hotel is a beautiful old old lady and her character is very charming the building itself is in need of a whole new make over which it deserves so much , this however did not spoil our stay and enjoyed exploring this tired magnificent building . Staff was very pleasant and helpful. You just need to spend your profits on renovating this amazing building."

"Family room cost us 121 for a night with breakfast included for 3 people in the 6 weeks hols, so decent value for nowadays. Plenty of parking, maybe a tad understaffed, but lots of places struggle with that I reckon. We had burgers for evening meal which were nice with generous portions. A little bit dog eared here and there but not to a fault. We had a pleasant peaceful night's rest and the breakfast was decent with full English and cereal/croissant options available. Clapham was nice but not...

"The hotel is inconspicuous on a dreary day but has double doors from the bar to the street so would be lovely on a summers day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a lovely modern shower and the vista was straight out to the Bay (which was sadly freak and dreary). One lady (Margaret) was amazing. She checked me in and made sure I was happy with everything. Then after I went to my room I went to the bar and was being served pints by Margaret...
