Pro: beautiful hotel, great views, good breakfast (didn’t eat dinner there as the menu is not to our liking) Con: as mentioned by other guests, the room is only suitable for couples. There is no hanging rack in the shower room so there is no way to dry and dress yourself without ‘exposing’ yourself. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamui as a couple. We rented the one bedroom apartment condo with kitchen, the room is very spacious and we were able to relax in the living room after snowboarding. The condo is 2-3 mins drive to Annupuri and 15-20 mins to Hirafu. Will definitely come back again in the future!"

"The rooms are very clean and the laundry is next level; there is a washer AND dryer as one unit in each room so you can put your things in overnight while you sleep and they are clean for the next day! If you want to cook there is a full on kitchen, dishes, stove and fridge in each room as well and Apple TV and good Wi-Fi - anything you could need really The staff really do go above and beyond. They picked us up from our airport shuttle drop off and they would take us to the mountain every day...

"Property is a 10 minute drive away from the heavily touristed area. Perfect for us. The hosts are wonderful and the food is amazing. We got the half board (dinner and breakfast) for four. Amazing. Cabins are all built using huge logs. A tad rustic but with amazing soaking tub plus modern toilets. We stayed in summer. No A/c but temps were cool. Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"The townhome was nice. Very clean and the reception desk & staff were extremely helpful & very timely when we called. Spacious home, heated floors very cozy. The shuttle service was good however being that it’s a little out of the city it would be more convenient to have a rental car. Wonderful & relaxing family holiday. The kitchen was also well equipped for cooking and staying in. "

"Loved our stay at Spa Shiosai. We only stayed 1 night but I would definilty stay again in the future. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu and it was an easy drive. A bit further than other options but the price and Onsen were well worth it. It is a very quiet, clean, and relaxing hotel. Thanks for having us. "
