"Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

From the welcome cup of tea to the morning breakfasts and games for the children, the colonial style was fantastic and made for a very welcome stay. "The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

There’s not many good eating options nearby, but we did find a good little restaurant across the road which did excellent dosas. It’s easy to get a tuk tuk to wherever you want to go. "
