"The room was spotless with all the amenities you need. Shared kitchen with dining area, tea, coffee, cocoa, games and comfortable seating area for relaxing and visiting with the staff and other visitors. We especially appreciated the owners making waffles for us all in the morning, with conversation and suggestions to enhance our visit in the area. Too many stays have no contact with the owners and we have missed the personal contact in the country we are visiting. Loa's Nest was the exception to this. Thank you for one of the best stays on our visit to Iceland."

"The hotel is located a bit off the beaten path in a very surreal location. The scenery around the hotel is straight out of a postcard. The hotel is very elegantly decorated and has a very cozy feel to it. There are less than 10 rooms, so it feels quite personal. The breakfast spread is simple but very adequate. Even as vegetarians, we were quite satisfied with the breakfast options. We stayed for 1 night and had a very memorable stay. "

"Like so many guesthouses in Iceland, it is remote. It’s part of a horse farm. This however is part of the charm. How wonderful to look out the windows at the horses grazing, and being welcome to walk through the stables and pet these beautiful animals. Restaurants are about a fifteen minute drive, so prepare accordingly. I’d definitely stay again."
