"Hotel was lovely and central. There was an anime convention on the weekend we were there, which we hadn't been informed about on check in, so we couldn't really spend time in the hotel, and kept getting asked for our pass to enter if we were out. We weren't informed about check out times or breakfast options at check in, and there was no complimentary water in the room. Other than that it was a nice hotel, room was clean and it was very central for exeter tiwn centre."

"Really happy with our stay, we only stayed one night as part of a long journey but I knew booking a Holiday Inn Express would be worth it. Very reasonably priced, great comfortable room, hot shower and nice breakfast in the morning."

"Clean hotel, unfortunately the dining area is far too small when the hotel is busy. Although a dog friendly hotel, you are asked to sit in a specific area and if it's busy, you may have to wait an hour or so, or take breakfast in your room, despite tables being available and the food area being separate from the seating area. Overall not too bad price wise, by the time you add on parking and the pet. We stayed for 4 nights in the May holidays, worked out around £100/night. Staff were friendly...

"Faded glory in a stunning location. Spacious gardens and fantastic location for the beach, lovely indoor pool. Menu includes vegan sausages on the breakfast menu and vegan options in the restaurant in the evening. Staff are courteous and helpful. Would visit again "

The hotel itself is a little tired and would welcome a little tlc, however the staff were professional and welcoming, the hotel itself was clean and presentable, the breakfast was more than adequate, and the location was perfect"
