I called the hotel to fix the mistake, but they refused to refund any of my four nights’ charges, and I had to pay for that as well as four nights’ stay at a different hotel in Madrid."

"We booked a one night stay. The room was like a sauna, no AC. I inquired and was told they had no idea when it would be fixed. The hall was cool??? No effort to move us, stated the problem was with all rooms. The entry area was cool??? We did not stay, the temperature was stuck on 31.5C°. Do not recommend this hotel, they could have notified us about the problem as we booked it several days in advance. Very unprofessional, did not offer any compensation. Never use this hotel chain again."

"Check-in was instructions by phone which way unexpected as we were traveling abroad. Had we not expanded our cell plan to include international, we would have really struggled and may not have gotten in. Despite our best efforts, the A/C blew hot air. Thankfully, it was a cool day/evening and we kept the window open. Very small town, most things were not open on Sunday so we would up driving to another town to eat dinner. "This is not a traditional hotel. You check in at a hostel (which was challenging to find, even with GPS), but if you have one of the apartments booked, it is not at that same location. In fact, our apartment was quite far from the hostel, and from friends of ours who we were traveling with - their apartment was also not in the same location as the hostel where we checked in. The hostel staff did not speak English, which was confusing when we were being told to follow a guy to the other part...
