"Fabulous stay at Hotel Riu! The doorman and all the staff are exceptionally polite, fresh tasty breakfast and brilliant views from the 360 bar on the rooftop. Great location, easy to get to everything with good links with the metro. We had a great size room overlooking the fountain which was lovely and so comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Riu Plaza! The weather was amazing so we would of loved for the pool and terrace to be open but that just means we will have to visit again :) "

"Very helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Rooms very clean and hotel also very clean. Well situated for the Metro (O’Donnell or Goya) and a short distance to the Retiro gardens. Easy to get to from the airport on Bus 203 (5 Euro per person when we took it). Lots of places to eat nearby & hotel food really good. Check out the cafes and bars in Goya. Gym small but plenty of apparatus - treadmill, 3 bikes, X-trainer, weights machine and weights. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Madrid."

"Nice Scandinavian style hotel near the airport. They have a restaurant on-site that is convenient if you arrive late to the hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try the breakfast due to an early flight, but the hotel staff provided bagged breakfast options for the early departure guests. "
