"Un peu déçu de cet hôtel pour dire que c’est un 4 étoiles. L’accueil n’était pas très cordial, cela-dit le personnel du petit déjeuner était sympathique. La chambre était en dessous du standard, pas hyper propre, avec une odeur de moisi. La chambre n’avait aucun service: Pas de bouilloire, café etc. Même si le covid nous a été indiqué comme la raison, tous les autres hôtels de notre séjour avaient ces services donc un effort serait bienvenu. "I personally don't like having to carry 25 kg of linen on my back across 400 m, and then spend one hour putting the linen on the beds, coming back to the reception because they did not give us the right set, puzzling over which linen goes where, etc. Sure they provide caddies, but they seem to always be taken or in a state of disrepair. I have seen this type of campground-like hotel approach in other places in France, but never in any of my travels any other place in the world. I would prefer to know in advance that this is a campground mindset so as to avoid it. To me, it's like if someone invites me for dinner and asks me to clean the toilet while they cook."

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "
