Citta della Pieve is an attractive and surprisingly interesting hill town which projects a genuine feel for life in Umbria with relatively few tourists. Unfortunately, without any prior notice from the hotel or from Expedia, we were told that the restaurant was closed for dinner, but that breakfast would be served as normal in the morning. The owners, however, were very helpful to suggest an alternative restaurant within a couple of minutes walking distance where we were able to have a pleasant dinner."
