"We stayed at the Broome Park Hotel for a couple of nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff at reception were very good but there seemed to be a lack of staff in the dining/bar area which meant that the bar was quite often unmanned for long periods of time. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the second floor, unless you are pretty fit ask for a room on the first floor as the stairs to the upper floor was very daunting as they were so steep. "We stayed in a family room on the top floor, which was a good size and had a lovely view of the cathedral. The pub is well located, it didn’t take us long to walk to the King’s mile shops and cathedral. It isn’t too far from the train station or Westgate park."

"My room was perfect. Small but not cramped. Lovely window seat with window that opens. The view is stunning especially at night. Excellent cooked breakfast and friendly helpful staff. I don’t have one complaint I will definitely return. "

"Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. "

"Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. "

"Great food and choice of drinks. Room was lovely, although it needed a thinner quilt, as it was far too hot. A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. I would definitely stay again though."
