"Stayed here last year and absolutely loved it so decided to go back…and we’re so glad we did. The food is delicious and not repetitive like some All Inclusive hotels. The staff are amazing too, so friendly and accommodating. New addition to the hotel from last year is the rooftop pool and bar… great for sunsets "

"The pools and outside space are lovely at its very picturesque but the room was very dated and the bathroom was in poor condition with glass slats missing. The air-conditioning is old and struggled to cool the size of room. The shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken when i contacted reception the receptionist was unhelpful. People smoke everywhere and even an employee who has a room in a no smoking area thinks it ok with children around. "

"Lovely hotel close to Rethymno old town (about a 15 minute walk). Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was very modern which we liked and the pool was a good temperature and great for when it was hot during the day. Would recommend if your planning to go to Rethymno "

"The staff was truly amazing-Elena at the front desk, Spyros at dinner and the entire crew made us feel special. They helped us up the stairs with our luggage and made a special table for us at dinner under the bougainvillea tree. The dinner was amazing, one of the best we've had in Greece. The early morning taxi to the airport with Theodore was punctual and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when in Rethymno!"

"The hotel is in a really nice area of Rethymno. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the breakfast, wasn’t what you’d expect at a 4star hotel."

"It was a great spread for breakfast which was included with our reservation: coffee, orange juice, toast with butter, jam and hazelnut spread, omelette with your choice of toppings and a bowl of fresh fruit. The hostess was very helpful in explaining where we could park our car for free nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for a one night stay."

"Avli was absolutely stunning. Amazing room, beautiful terrace overlooking shopping/dining. Staff were wonderful, the breakfast was a feast! We did eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner, it was amazing as well. Highly recommended! We will be back! "

"Beautiful large room, very clean, really good breakfast with large variety of food on offer, nice pool, close to beach. Close to shops and some lovely restaurants. About 20 min stroll into old town. Close to turtle beaches. In the large room there was both overhead and hand showers and a jacuzzi bath. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Just fabulous. Would definitely stay there again. "

"This hotel was one of our favorites over our 3 week holiday on Crete. Many other reviewers commented on the lack of parking so we proactively reached out to the hotel to get recommendations on where to park. There is a free lot about 100 meters from the hotel. It's a gravel lot, but it did the job. There is a small pull out where you can drop your luggage quickly before you move the car. From the reception to the wait staff this hotel was on point. "The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice. The location was perfect for us, as a family being within easy reach of local restaurants and shops selling lovely gifts! You can easily walk around this pretty village with it's beautiful sandy beach and calm sea which was just a stones throw away from the hotel room. Would definitely revisited. "
