"Room was great, lobby bar and bar tenders were great. The downstairs restaurant was difficult to find [no signage anywhere] and while we had a good dinner, breakfast was a no go, took forever to get seated and then no one too our order. Had cheaper and better breakfast at local place down the street. They should have live music at the upstairs bar. We had a great ocean view, but you have to book ocean view! If you don't, you'll likely be in a room that faces one of 2 closed hotels that...

"Perfect location along the beautiful Hamakua Coast! So lush and green. We can not stayed one night but right away I could tell this would be a good place to use as home base for a longer stay. The unit was perfectly appointed and the patio very relaxing with great views. The common area looks excellent, although we didn’t use. Some interesting books I would have liked to sit around and read. Short stay but I liked it. "

"The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. The beds were not particularly comfortable and overall I would rate the accomodations as 4 star"

"Beautiful location, large unit. No AC, but it wasnt uncomfortable at night. The init wasnt as nicely decorated as other places but that worked for us since we were traveling with our one year old daughter. The grounds were gorgeous though! "
