Unfortunately, without any prior notice from the hotel or from Expedia, we were told that the restaurant was closed for dinner, but that breakfast would be served as normal in the morning. The owners, however, were very helpful to suggest an alternative restaurant within a couple of minutes walking distance where we were able to have a pleasant dinner."

"Throughout our stay there was a terrible smell of sewage in the hotel especially in the lobby. The doors were kept wide open to have fresh air come in. It did not help. Talking to the staff they pretended that everything is in order. The room was warm so we opened a window. Had to shut it off immediately because of the smell. We ate at the Michelin star restaurant at the hotel. One of the worst meals we ever had. the food was mediocre, and, every now and than a smell of sewage was introduced...

"The rural setting, deep in the heart of Tuscan countryside not far from Pieve and Montepulciano, is perfect. The hotel has beautiful landscaped gardens and a lovely pool area. One of the highlights though is the hotel's in-house restaurant. Wonderful gourmet quality food, focussed on fresh, local produce, cooked and presented to a high standard. "Don’t let the name fool you. This place has nothing to do with wellness. Knew Iit was a scam when I had to pass by an employee smoking at the entrance. No internet, uncomfortable mattress about 5” thick that overhung the bed. NOISY!!!!! Who has tile hallways in a hotel? Tired and dated decor, room was drab, uninspired breakfast, staff was polite, but not helpful. Stay away."
