"Really disappointed with the property. It could be so lovely as the surroundings are really beautiful. Room is outdated and grubby. Surfaces and floors were sticky. We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. "

"An enjoyable stay. Staff friendly, clean room. Don't know why the spa had a charge as when booked directly with the hotel it would have been free and there were charges for the towels and the robes. Evening meal good. I felt the room was quite expensive but on the whole it was an enjoyable stay."

"Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. "

She had only just started working on the reception after leaving air-hostessing and we got to talking because i’m a hotel receptionist too and she really is made for reception! The restaurants were lovely and the spa too! our treatments were amazing and the therapists really listened to our requests on pressure / firmness and what areas we wanted to be focused on more. Overall a really lovely stay, and would love to come back <3"
