"This is our second stay at The Grand. It is a beautiful hotel - a little shabby in places. Surprised to find that in a huge hotel like this that both lifts were out of order and only one small service lift for all huests plus service requirements. Breakfast is a fantastic offering although sorry to see that since our last visit you now need to use drink machines yourself. It is ok paying £20 for a fabulous buffet but it is nice to be served tea and coffee. Difficult to carry both breakfast...

Room was ok but unfortunately we were on the ground floor which faced onto the courtyard, there was a wedding on that night and the guests use the courtyard until 10pm and the function room is opposite so my bedroom was a bit noisy.
