Sestre Levante is close to the villages in Cinque Terra but has a completely different feel, more Italian tourists seem to stay here and it has great restaurant options. Of the various Ligurian seaside towns we have visited we like this place probably the best."

"A solid 5 stars. The staff was extremely helpful. They did 2 loads of laundry. One in the morning. The other in the afternoon and the price was very reasonable ($15). The breakfast buffet was good. It's hard to find a breakfast of more than pastries in Monterosso. The staff was friendly and helpful for anything. This hotel being very close to the beach was something I was looking for. They even have beach towels you can use. I'll be staying there again."

Our booking was last minute as our original booking was double booked so we arrived in Vernazza in the pouring rain with no accommodation! This was a beautiful experience, fully renovated top floor (which meant very steep stairs and small doorways) 2 great sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The space also had a kitchen and balcony which was lovely to sit out on each morning. We were right in the centre of Vernazza with easy access to all restaurants and walking tracks. This is a charming apartment in a historic village. The photo of the view does it justice, it is spectacular. The apartment has everything we needed for a weeklong stay.
