"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The villa itself is stunning and extremely well looked after, with housekeeping and pool maintenance twice a week. The owners are exceptional hosts - the house was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more) and we were treated with gifts of bread, pastries and cookies from their bakery during our stay - a real treat. "Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. "We stayed in the lower level unit with direct access to the front yard. There was no other renter in the upper unit at the time which made it even more enjoyable as my kids loved hanging out and playing in the front yard until late in the evening. Many shops and restaurants literally steps from the house and the beach is just across the street. The house was comfortable, the AC worked well and the beds were comfortable.
