"My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. "We booked the cheapest room for two nights, but when we got there, Andy told us that we're their only guests for the weekend, so they upgraded our room to the suite. 😊 The suite was stunning with a big living room and kitchen, also with ecstatic views. When we left the room the next day to tour around the island, we went back to a cleanroom. Although, we didn't expect a cleaning service. "Always a great stay at Skycity. The staff are always welcoming and the rooms on L4 have always been spectacularly clean. The digital personalised welcome note on tv screen was a lovely touch. The bed was super comfy, just the right level of support. Dickie the concierge at reception was fantastic, full of information and great tips, he had us in fits of laughter and made our day.
