"This hotel is perfect for families of all sizes and ages. We had so much to do in walking distance from the hotel with the beach and multiple parks nearby. The restaurants were excellent, and the service was good. I’d recommend upgrading to the rooms away from the primary tower if you have room in your budget, as these areas looked much nicer and newer. "

"Great location situated on the water. Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Clean rooms with good water pressure. All the staff I’ve met were warm and welcoming. Specifically Justin, Manny, Bobby and Mary. Others were amazing, but couldn’t remember their names. Would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our nicely decorated 2 bedroom ocean front room here! Great people watching on the boardwalk out front. Pool area clean and nicely decorated, as was lobby. I wish the little coffee bar inside the hotel had some more food options/grab and go. Also an evening hour for coffee. Otherwise, the only other walkable coffee place closes right afterwards. Parking is tight especially for larger cars or trucks and is $40 per night. The parking garage has a 6’ clearance but some limited outside parking. "

"Stay was ok. I was told I'd get parking for $15 which she marked my parking pass for $15 yet on checkout the were insidtent on $25 to park. The hotel lounge was incredibly hot AC was out it was miserable."

"The hotel lobby interior and rooms are recently renovated. The excellence of service, decor, quality of beds and sheets is a surprise, since the outside of the buildings look old and somewhat depressing. The color of the buildings does not help. However, once inside, the rooms are bigger than usual, with everything you need - fridge, microwave, desk, 2 chairs, drawers and open closet space. The drawback for some people: the sink is in the room, the toilet and bath-tub shower are in a tiny room which has a normal door. Everything worked well - air-conditioner, shower, plenty of hot water. All was properly clean, no smell of smoke. Not in the best area of San Diego, but the price for value is very good for those on a budget. FYI no breakfast available, but Starbucks and other food options including grocery stores are nearby."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Bahia, our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the bay. I definitely would recommend getting a bay view room. The kids love swimming in the bay, and the pool was also a great option. We loved the seal habitat and the very clean and beautiful resort. Perfect location to just walk to Belmont Park and the ocean. "
