"Small lodge with good/close access to Hemel Hempstead Train Station, and good connections 30 mins from London Euston that run an hour or two past midnight on a weeknight, check in was simple, a quick phone call to the number posted outside Reception to get a code for a key box, and that was Check-in sorted.
The room was well presented and well maintained, nice style of room, a mix of old a new gadgets in the room (Old style radio attached to the drawers and Corby Trouser Press, with Wi-fi and a TV also available, as an example when I say a mix)
Usual selection of hot drink options ready in the room, next to a list of details and information that I'd need to know about my stay, including check-out, breakfast and other amenities (Laundry, Breakfast times etc) - the breakfast included was a Continental Breakfast (which I didn't have as I missed the window, which ended at 9:00am) - but a paid, cooked breakfast was also available if I would have wanted to go for it.
Bathroom was a wet-room with plenty of rails and specialist equipment for people with physical disabilities/mobility issues (shower chair, red emergency pull cords etc.), soap, shampoo and shower gel provided, with 2 fresh bath towels, and a floor mat towel ready.
Overall, a nice cosy stay in a place with good access to London **without** needing to drive into any ULEZ zones and incurring extra charges, and free parking while you stay - I recommend this hotel to people who want to stay & visit North/West London"
