Everything was nice and food, pool and spa was amazing

Staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed a week and it felt like home! Large pool, and gym. Which were clean and very usuable. There was a horse track across the street, but it was not loud and it did not dictract me from my sleep.

Great place on a pond. Good breakfast included. Good Location , easy access to milan and the northern lakes.

Hotel is clean and staff is helpful. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Also close to the airport.

First and foremost the air conditioning in the room was amazing for an American!!!! Not your typical European AC. Also there was a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was plentiful as an European breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay here again. We had a double bed and plenty of spacious room for each of us within the room. We even had a little balcony.

We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. I recently spent 9 nights at this lovely hotel and was absolutely thrilled with the decision to do so. The room was smaller, which wasn't a huge deal given that it was really just to sleep and shower in with maybe some down time in between. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and given the key to my room, as well as advised of where it was located. Clean room, helpful staff

My wife and I first visited Grand Hotel Dino several years ago on a tour, and the beautiful images remained with us. We decided to return this July and it was everything we remembered and much more. The hotel is spectacular and the scenery is as well. Hopefully on our next trip up north we will bring our entire family including our grandchildren. We know that they, too, will just love it.

Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. I based my booking on the free airport shuttle. The hotel exceeded my expectations! We arrived by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station. There's a short section walking along a busy road (no sidewalk, but a trail), but an easy walk. The hotel room was basic and clean. Comfotable bed, spacious bathroom, some rooms have balconies. Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens.
