"Nice public rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. Plenty of parking £10 for 24 hours and also some free parking on the road if you can get a space. Easy walking to the centre, railway station and cinema. Our classic room was generally good but let down by the bathroom which is dated and could do with refurbishing. Only shower gel provided so take your own toiletries and no bottle of water. Plenty tea and coffee and a couple of biscuits. Bed was comfortable"

"Only stayed for one night. We were meeting up with friends from Scotland. We had a lovely stay. The staff and service was great. The only downside to our stay, would have loved a restaurant on site. Breakfast was good and there was a lot of choices. Will definitely go back."

"Lovely clean room, a few stains on the carpet, which was a shame, but overall a lovely stay and excellent spa. The highlight was the staff, who were friendly, helpful and professional. It seems the biggest complaint from people is the car park, which, according to the staff, is actually not owned by them but by the council, so it's nothing they can control the pricing of. Which, when the guy in front of me was complaining loudly to the reception staff about the price, seems not very fair."
